“ A favorite Lynchburg spot of mine (and my boss) I love coming here. Their cocktail menu gets all the credit but the wine offerings (by the glass!) are actually wildly good if not better. The food and service here is always spectacular. ”
“ We came in on a Friday Night with no reservation, they tried to fit us in but we waited until a spot opened up for (2) at the bar. We were bummed to not get a table but the bartenders were both incredible and took great care of us on our anniversary getaway weekend. But let me just say how AH.MAZ.ING every bite of both our meals and dessert were! I got the Hangar Steak and I literally scraped every morsel of food off the plate. My wife got the Grilled Pork Chop, and couldn't stop talking about it either. So we agreed to share a Tiramisu, and a Bourbon Nightcap... Which did not disappoint, and completed the evening. We considered coming back the next night even, so we asked the bartenders about other local eateries, and they mentioned some other options but none could compare to Truss. (Spoiler Alert, we tried another spot, and we're quite disappointed and wished we went back to Truss!). Anyways, this restaurant was definitely a highlight of our anniversary weekend, and we will DEFINITELY be back whenever we visit Lynchburg again. ”

“ Was not having a great morning and couldn’t decide on what to have for breakfast, until we stumbled upon this lovely place! We were immediately welcomed and treated with much kindness. Lena served us and was extremely helpful and very nice, checking in on us every couple of minutes to see if we needed anything changed or added. They have many brunch and dinner options that will make you want to try everything they have! We got the Lemon-Blueberry Pancakes and Smoked Salmon Flatbread, and both were easily the best I’ve ever had. We will absolutely be coming back here, and are excited for our next visit! ”

“ We visited Truss for my work Christmas party- 5 stars for the deviled eggs appetizer! I ordered a 'dealers choice' cocktail by describing my favorite flavors and received a delicious mint lemonade drink! I ordered steak with broccolini and potatoes and my husband got the duck. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere! ”
“ The best overall meal I have had in Lynchburg! And the restaurant is beautiful...hard to believe you're not in a resort city. The salad was so fresh with locally sourced greens. The bread and butter was unusually good too. The entree of seared scallops over diced corn and squash was prepared perfectly. To top it all off the homemade peach and blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for desert was just like grandma would make. I usually don't get desert unless I'm on vacatio1n, but you can't skip it when the food is that well prepared. You have to try it...it is well worth the price! Ate there on a weeknight around 5pm, so when I left it was probably half full, so get there early. ”
“ We enjoyed everything. Friendly and informative staff. Greeted appropriately and sat quickly. We had the seasoned carrots, wedge salad, hanger steak and chocolate mousse. The broccoli served with the hanger steak was a pleasant surprise, well seasoned and delicious. The carrots are a definite must. We had James as our server and her performed to expectations in every way; friendly, informative, and good charisma. Beautiful and well thought out space. Seating made sense and was well spaced. Bar looked full and well adorned, the bartender looked like a pro. We will come back next time we come through town. ”
